Flood Relief Activities of Customs Health Care Society in FLOOD HIT AREAS

UPDATE ON FLOOD (04TH SEPTEMBER TO 21st APRIL 2015):-

Construction of 50 homes for flood affected underAPNA GHAR HOUSING PROJECT in 18-Hazari.
ii) Distribution of WINTER PACKAGE among the flood affected.
iii) QURBANI in all flood affected areas and for IDPs in Bannu and distribution of meat accordingly.
iv) CELEBRATION OF EID in flood affected areas and also with IDPs in Bannu and distribution of Eidee, Eid gifts and new clothes.
v) Establishment of TENT VILLAGES in different villages of AttahraHazari, Ali Pur and Muzzafargarh.
vi) Distribution of Gas Stoves, Quilts, Mosquitos nets, Anti mosquito Spray and Tarpaulins among the affectees.
vii) Medical and Relief Camps in AttharaHazari, Jhang, Bhawana, Chinot, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Ali Pur and Muzzafargarh.
viii) Vaccination of children against Typhoid.
ix) Mobile Medical Camps in different flood hit areas.
x) Provision of cooked food to the flood affectees.
xi) Treatment of 50,000 patients.
xii) Provision of one month ration to 5,000 families.
xiii) Distribution of fresh fruit among the flood affectees.
xiv) Provision of 1,000 tents to the flood affected.

  1. Start of APNA GHAR HOUSING PROJECT in 18-Hazari.
  2. Distribution of WINTER PACKAGE among the flood affected.

  10. Provision of cooked food to the flood affectees.
  11. Treatment of 30,000 patients.
  12. Provision of one month ration to 5,000 families.
  13. Distribution of fresh fruit among the flood affectees.
  14. Provision of 1,000 tents to the flood affected.

UPDATE ON FLOOD RELIEF ACTIVITIES OF CUSTOMS HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES IN WAZIRABAD, JHANG, SHEIKHUPURA AND HAFIZABAD.?

  1. It is my proud privilege to inform you that care and welfare teams of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has once again taken the lead to reach the flood affected areas of Punjab and are actively taking part in relief and rescue operations for the flood affected people.
  2. The update on medical and relief work so far undertaken by the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) are given as under:-
    1. Medical and Relief Camps in Wazirabad, Jhang, Rana Town and Hafizabad.
    2. Mobile medical camps.
    3. Provision of cooked food to the flood affectees.
    4. Treatment of 10,000 patients.
    5. Provision of one month ration to 2,000 families.
    6. Vaccination of children against Typhoid.
    7. Distribution of fresh fruit among the flood affectees.
    8. Arrangement of 1,000 tents for the flood affectees.
  3. CHCS also vaccinated children against Typhoid disease as there is imminent danger of breakout of infectious diseases. There is immediate need of vaccination against Typhoid and provision of clean and safe drinking water in order to avoid water borne and other diseases.
  4. The rescue and relief operations of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) will continue endlessly flood affected areas till the complete rehabilitation of flood affectees.
